Our History Steven Arnold has been making wine for twenty-five years. Early in his marriage to Margaret he assumed production duties at his uncle-in-law’s home winery. Steven has perfected his art over the past two decades to create wines of remarkable heft and substance. In addition to his wife, he is joined in the business by his brother-in-law Terry Norton.
All of the wines are produced at our family farm in the Yakima Valley, a homestead purchased by the Norton family in 1912. The family acquired extensive acreage over a number of years, but lost most of those orchards during the first depression in the early 1920s. Our grandparents hand-packed apples to earn enough money to buy the land back from the bank, and by 1931 the family had once again regained ownership over a number of apple and cherry orchards. Although much of that land has since been re-sold, we retain the original homestead and a few acres of cherries. Visit our website to learn more and to buy some wine!
