What We’re Selling Now
2006 Red
Bottled in June 2008. Unfortunately we couldn’t put “Claret” on the label due to trade restrictions with France. But this is a true Claret, or Bordeaux blend — Cabernet Sauvignon (56%) dominant with Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Rich and well-balanced, with a rounded palate and soft tannins. The oak (French/new & old) has added a lovely edge of toast and tobacco. Built around a bright, dark cherry center with a plum edge, the wine exhibits a hint of mint and licorice at the finish.
Very approachable now, serve this red with pork or fowl, as well as beef. Perfect with a fruit reduction or herb sauce.
Priced at $17 per bottle or $200 per case. Enjoy!
